Web 2.0 Tools and “Connectivism”

Web 2.0 refers to a  growing number of web-based tools, communities, and services — such as social-networking sites, wikis and other forms of media aimed at user collaboration and sharing.
  

George Siemens, Learning Technologies Centre, University of Manitoba, presented the following with an online tool called Articulate:

1. View the Articulate presentation by Mr. Siemans paying particular attention to Web 2.0 tools, Participation Model, It’s Not All Good, and Future VLE.

 
2. Write a blog of your reactions and reflections to Mr. Siemens’ ideas. What do you think? Agree, disagree…where are we headed?
