To put a podcast on the Internet: Get a free Podomatic account and upload to your own page there. The podcast example in Module 3 of Mrs. S was at Podomatic.com. Or, upload your podcast to your file space here on Blog City.
1. Download and install the necessary software for podcasting.
2. Experiment with Audacity until you are comfortable making and exporting (not saving) a short recording in MP3 format to your computer. Create an example podcast that you would use with your students. This could be a story, a book talk, an explanation, etc. It needs to be a topic and delivery that will be engaging for students. Make it at least 1 minute long.
Post a new blog with a link to the location of your podcast. Due 5/7/08
