The Level of Technology Integration Framework (LoTi) site has a continuum from Level 0 to Level 6, describing progressing technology use in the classroom.
1. Browse the continuum links 0-6. Focus on the description and the teacher comments in each.
2. Write a blog/reflection of your impressions according to: Where do you fit into this continuum? Compare the Comments from Level 0 to the Comments in Level 6. What levels have you experienced as a student, or observer, or student teacher, or teacher? Due 4/16
Using Concept Map Software:
A concept map is a diagram for exploring knowledge and gathering and sharing information. It is very useful in many classroom situations.
1. Download a 30-day trial copy of Inspiration from http://www.inspiration.com/ . Think about your goals and motivations for being in the teaching profession. Why do you want to teach? How do you want to be viewed by peers and students? Will your professional efforts result in changes? Express these and other thoughts using concept mapping software.

2. Create a concept map and export it as a JPG file to your computer. Upload your JPG concept map to your blog File Space. Create a new blog entry. Add a link in the new blog entry to your uploaded concept map so peers can locate your work. Due 4/21

3. Peer Feedback- Study the concept map of one or more students in our class, and post a short, thoughtful, comment on her/his blog entry. Email your instructor with the name of the student you commented on.
